Dear Users,

We thought you might enjoy the mailer below!
In 2016, a Chinese factory stubbornly resisted FWC recommendations to urgently upgrade its firefighting equipment and fire safety procedures. Four months of dogged FWC persistance followed until the company reluctantly complied, albeit under duress, and made the necessary improvements. Just three weeks later, a major fire at the site was held at bay by in-house trained firefighters until local fire brigade professionals brought the blaze fully under control. All 558 employees were safely evacuated, and the premises saved from outright destruction.

Why are you making such a fuss about a few old fire extinguishers and products and materials in passageways? We’ve never had a fire here.

We will never be able to thank you enough. Your refusal to take no for an answer not only saved my factory but also, most importantly, many lives.
As part of its remodeling process, the factory unilaterally installed state-of-the-art fire detection and alert technology and fire safety equipment, including automatic sprinkler systems, throughout the premises. Today, it is a stand-out example of fire safety best practices.
